Disappearing

If something transforms, has it really disappeared?

Disappearance and transformation are distinct, yet coupled actions. A musical layer may change register, timbre, distance, or space until its origin can no longer be recognised.

The season also listens to social disappearance: people at work, private and public sound, ignored and interesting noise, and the different acoustic lives held within one city.

Programme, artists, venues, dates, and documentation will be added as the project develops.
